Cancellation Policy – SM Car Rental
At SM Car Rental, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for our valued customers while also considering our operational commitments.
More than 24 hours before scheduled pickup:
Full refund will be processed with no cancellation charges.
12 to 24 hours before scheduled pickup:
50% of the total booking amount will be charged as cancellation fee.
Less than 12 hours before scheduled pickup or no-show:
100% of the booking amount will be charged. No refund applicable.
In rare cases, if we need to cancel a booking due to unavoidable circumstances (vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, natural disasters, etc.), a full refund will be issued. We will also assist in arranging an alternate vehicle whenever possible.
All eligible refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days to the original mode of payment.
Any change in travel date, time, or route is subject to availability and may involve additional charges. Kindly notify us at least 12 hours in advance for any modifications.
